Client Service Terms
The rules that protect our clients, our specialists and FourVia when we work together.
Last updated: October 6, 2026
These terms apply to every business that works with FourVia Solutions (“FourVia”, “we”, “us”). They work together with your signed proposal or service agreement. If the two ever disagree, your signed agreement wins.
In these terms, “you” means the client business, and “specialist” means the FourVia team member assigned to your work.
1. What we do
- We provide trained remote specialists who support your business operations, such as acquisitions, dispositions, transaction coordination, property management, systems and automation, and administrative support.
- Your proposal lists exactly what your specialist will do (the “scope”). Any change to the scope must be agreed in writing, and email is fine.
- We are not a real estate brokerage. Our specialists are not licensed real estate agents, lawyers, accountants or financial advisers. They do not give legal, tax or financial advice, and they do not do any work that needs a real estate licence in your province, such as negotiating a trade on your behalf.
- You make the final decisions about your deals, offers, prices and business. We support the work; we do not guarantee any deal, sale or result.
2. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Give your specialist the information, tools and account access they need to do the work, including full admin access when the work requires it.
- Give instructions that are legal in every place where you do business.
- Make sure your own lead lists, marketing and outreach follow the law, including Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), the National Do Not Call List rules, and provincial real estate and consumer protection rules.
- Tell us quickly if something is not working, so we can fix it.
3. Things we will not do (and you cannot ask for)
To protect you, our other clients and our specialists, a FourVia specialist will not do the following, and you agree not to ask them to:
- Share or “fish” for another client’s information. Your specialist will never be asked to get leads, buyers, sellers, deals, contacts, prices, scripts or any other information from another FourVia client or another FourVia specialist. The same promise protects your information from every other client.
- Break privacy or marketing laws. For example: calling numbers on the National Do Not Call List without a valid exemption, sending messages without consent, or buying, scraping or sharing personal information in ways the law does not allow.
- Mislead anyone. For example: pretending to be a licensed agent, a lawyer or a government office, using a fake identity, or making false promises to a seller or buyer.
- Pressure or harass people. No aggressive, threatening or misleading tactics, especially with elderly or vulnerable homeowners.
- Do anything illegal, unsafe, fraudulent or discriminatory, including discrimination against any protected group in housing.
- Pay for things or sign up for paid services with their personal money or cards. Any paid tool or subscription is set up in your business name and paid by you, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Do unpaid work, or work outside the agreed hours or scope, unless we agree on it in writing first.
We may decline any request that breaks these rules. When we do, we will tell you why.
4. Fair treatment of our specialists
Our specialists are professionals and part of your team. You agree to:
- Treat them with respect, with no harassment, abuse, threats or discrimination of any kind.
- Contact them only through the work channels we agreed on, and only for work.
- Not ask them for personal information that is not needed for the work.
- Raise any concern about their performance with FourVia, not by punishing the specialist directly.
If these rules are broken, FourVia may move the specialist to another client and pause the service until the issue is resolved.
5. No hiring away our specialists (non-solicitation)
We invest in recruiting, training and managing every specialist. To protect that investment, and the specialists’ working arrangements:
- While you work with us, and for a period after your service ends, you agree not to hire, contract or pay any FourVia specialist you worked with, directly or through another company, unless we agree in writing first.
- You also agree not to encourage a specialist to leave FourVia.
- In the same way, FourVia will not try to hire your own employees while we work together.
6. Confidentiality
- We keep your business information private. This includes your leads, deals, buyers, prices, numbers, systems and plans.
- Every specialist is bound to keep client information confidential.
- You also agree to keep our private information confidential. This includes our training materials, SOPs, pricing and proposals.
- These promises continue after our work together ends.
7. Access to your systems and data
- Your specialist gets the access the work needs, including full admin access when required.
- Your specialist uses that access only for the agreed work, and does not make major changes unless you approve them.
- You stay the owner of your accounts, systems and data.
- Each client’s data is kept separate. Your data is never used for, shared with or moved to another client.
- When our work ends, we hand over what we set up for you and remove our access, unless you ask us to keep it.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
8. Who owns the work
- After you pay for it, the work your specialist creates for you is yours, such as your spreadsheets, CRM records, documents, reports, automations and system settings.
- Our own training materials, SOP templates, checklists and methods remain FourVia’s property. You may keep using any copies built into your own processes.
9. Quality and replacements
- We check quality using SOPs, KPIs, QA reviews and regular reports.
- If a specialist is not the right fit, tell us. We will work to fix it, and if needed, assign and train a replacement.
10. Fees and payment
- Fees, billing dates and payment methods are set out in your proposal or agreement.
- If a payment is late, we may pause the service until it is paid.
11. Limits of our responsibility
- We work carefully, but we cannot guarantee any deal, sale, income or business result.
- We are not responsible for losses caused by your instructions, your business decisions, the information you give us, or the tools and accounts you provide.
- We are not responsible for problems caused by third-party tools, unless they result from our own mistake.
- Our responsibility for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service. We are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost deals.
12. Your responsibility to us
If someone makes a claim against FourVia or a specialist because of your instructions, your data, or your breaking of these terms or the law, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim.
13. Ending the service
- Either side can end the service with written notice, unless your agreement says otherwise.
- Either side can end it right away if the other seriously breaks these terms.
- When the service ends, you pay for the work done up to the end date. Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 11 and 12 still apply afterwards.
14. Other points
- Changes: We may update these terms. If a change affects an active agreement, we will tell you in advance.
